Pictured above are Able Services's Engineering Manager Kurt Sitzman and Chief Engineer Robert Jones whom provided a building tour of the AON Center in downtown LA to students in the Rewritten program. Rewritten is a LA based non-profit program designed to work closely with select participants to achieve academic success and develop positive interpersonal skills through tutoring, team building activities and program-based incentives. Thanks to our LA team for making the time to educate today’s youth about employment opportunities in our field. Energy Procurement Myth #2: All energy consultants are the same

They operate on a volume-based business model, and offer very little advisement or ancillary services. Their goal is to get as many contracts signed up as possible, and typically disappear until your contract is up for renewal. These are the people calling you offering savings off your bill.

This article was originally published in May 2018 and has been updated. ‘Pride in Working Safe’ at the Hopewell Campus in Pennington, NJ with Rob Berger, Engineering Manager, Able Services Tell us about the Hopewell Operations and Maintenance Team The Hopewell Team achieved 1,400 Days without a worksite injury, that’s 11,200 shifts and 33,600 hours straight, as this is a 24/7 coverage site. Our team provides the maintenance and operation of 4 separate chilled plants that control the comfort of 2 million sq. ft. of office space.  We also provide critical cooling and power for several of the campuses’ 24/7 banking operations.  The site is manned with a 24/7 control room for fire and life safety and emergency work tickets.
